Don't call it eggnog!!! Our HALLÖCHEN tastes like eggnog - BUT it's an alcoholic drink with cream, vodka, egg yolk and our beloved Tahitian vanilla. Very creamy and vanilla-like.
The alcohol content is 11% alcohol by volume, which is why we are not allowed to call this product a liqueur.
As a topping on our red fruit jelly or a scoop of chocolate ice cream, a delicious cake ingredient or as a dessert - HALLÖCHEN always works.
My grandmother always had a bottle in the fridge. You never know.
