In a dark ruby red, the Marianne Desirade sparkles in the glass and exudes the intense scent of dried cranberries, blackberries and licorice. Powerful and balanced, the red wine cuvée of Merlot (59%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (41%) also presents itself on the palate. Notes of dark fruits and anise, together with a wonderful, refined structure and a long-lasting, soft finish, provide enjoyable moments. Marianne Desirade aged sixteen to twenty-two months in French oak and is the perfect companion to aromatic meat dishes, especially duck or a braised beef are highly recommended with this expressive red wine.
