More information about Mezcalosfera Ensamble Mezcal
This agave was produced from five different agave varieties: Verde, Bicuixe, Madrecuixe, Coyote and Espadin. This bottling is therefore something very special for mezcal fans and newcomers alike to try out.
The production
Like the other Mezcalosfera mezcals, the agave for the Ensamble Mezcal is roasted with mezquit and encino wood. The agave is then fermented and then distilled.
The special thing about this mezcal is that it is only distilled once - unlike other mezcals, which are normally distilled twice. Incidentally, the entire production process takes place completely without electricity or running water.
As a result, this bottling has a unique taste. And there are only 60 liters of it in total.

Mezcalosfera by Mezcaloteca

Because of the small quantity and the high focus on quality, all Mezcals from Mezcalosfera are true masterpieces. In the production of Mezcal, each Maestro Mezcalero brings his own flavor of his region to the final product. Thus, the distillates are not only rare, but all have a strong individual note, which is marked by their origin. In production, the maestros work with traditional distilling and manufacturing methods and their own ideas for their mezcals. The agave varieties used range from wild agave to very tame.
