Rich and velvety smooth, the red wine, aged for 15 months in Hungarian and French oak, caresses the palate. Serve the wine best with hearty dishes, but it is also the perfect complement to dark meat or game. Incidentally, the Neethlingshof The Owl Post Pinotage Magnum owes its name to the owls that live in the estate's vineyards and keep them naturally free of pests.

Neethlingshof Estate
The Neethlingshof Estate in Stellenbosch is a place with a long and impressive history of winemaking. As one of the oldest and most renowned wine growing areas in South Africa, it provides the perfect environment for the production of a variety of premium wines. The natural conditions, soils, slopes, altitudes and climate are ideal and allow all the grapes for Neethlingshof wines to be grown on the estate. All wine is made, aged and bottled in the winery's cellars, following strict vegan guidelines throughout the growing and winemaking process.
