More information about Neethlingshof The Owl Post Pinotage 2019
The Neethlingshof Short Story Collection The Owl Post Pinotage is a complex and full-bodied red wine from South Africa's national grape, which shines in a dark ruby red in the glass. The bouquet already reveals its richness of facets: aromas of ripe red apples and plums are particularly present and are underpinned by a bit of cherry tobacco and vanilla. Full-bodied and extremely long-lasting in taste, the Neethlingshof Short Story Collection The Owl Post Pinotage delights on the palate with notes of cherries and dark chocolate, surrounded by beautiful toasty aromas. The red wine was aged for twelve months in Hungarian and French oak and is a real treat on its own. However, the Neethlingshof Short Story Collection The Owl Post is also an excellent companion to game or a delicious curry. Spicy vegetarian dishes, various cheeses or a dark chocolate cake for dessert are also excellent choices with the red wine, which incidentally owes its name to the owls that live in the vineyard to naturally eliminate pests.
