More information about North by Northwest
North by Northwest is not just a legend
The Pacific Northwest of the United States is a stronghold of craft beer and the birthplace of countless works of hop art The Steamworks Brewing Company has its roots in Canada and the brewing style of the Pacific Northwest is practically in its blood The Canadians no longer only brew in their homeland and now also present the rest of the world with the special beer of their beginnings The beery song of praise to the Northwest is a juicy IPA with a full 60 bittering units and is strongly reminiscent of the beginnings of India Pale Ales: Cleanly hopped and pointedly bitter
North by Northwest flows into the glass in a slightly cloudy golden hue and is crowned with a generous amount of white foam A seductive aroma of freshly baked cookies, caramelized grain and hops rises from the fluffy crown, fresh fruit and spicy pine resin The IPA scores with a subtly composed balance of biscuity malt and multi-layered hops Grain combines with floral notes, juicy mandarin, herbs and resin to create a delicious composition The crisp bitterness perfects the IPA and provides contrast and structure
