Orca Brau Nothing Without You is a cold-hopped sour beer with a very special blend of hops. American aroma hop distributor Yakima Chief releases a mix each year that was previously put together by female brewers from the Pink Boots Society. The Pink Boots Society works to promote and represent women in the beer industry worldwide.
Orca head brewer Felix vom Endt is excited about the idea. And so, without further ado, he stuffed (literally) the Pink Boots blend into the Sour Ale: Cashmere, Athanum, Citra, Loral & Sabro. The basic idea of Orca Brau Nothing Without You was born.
What does Orca Brau Nothing Without You taste like?
As a sour ale, Orca Brau Nothing Without You lives up to its name: intense fruity notes, meet playful floral aromas, a slight exoticism thanks to coconut aroma and fresh notes of lime and lemon. A refreshingly fruity interplay of aromas that results from the outstanding hop combination.

And because the small Nuremberg brewery thinks the Pink Boots Society is so terrific, part of the proceeds from Orca Brau Nothing Without You Sour Ale will be donated to the organization to inspire even more women to take up the craft of brewing.
