More information about WILD Little Thing
Hazy Little Thing and Big Little Thing are now followed by Wild Little Thing, concluding the series of little things in the wide-ranging Sierra Nevada brewery range for the time being. Even though all three beers were brewed in different styles and with different ingredients, they have one thing in common: their heavenly taste.
The Wild Little Thing is described by the brewery as a "Slightly Sour Ale". This sub-category of conventional sour ales is characterized by its slightly milder, more subtle acidity. Sour beers can challenge even the palates of professional beer connoisseurs with their targeted acid kick. Sierra Nevada wanted to round off the sharp edges of the classic sour beer without robbing the beer of its typical freshness. Using the kettle souring technique and the finest lactic acid bacteria, a beer is created that is wonderfully refreshing and pleasantly sour. The addition of guava, hibiscus and strawberry gives the sour beer a fruity character.
Sierra Nevada's Wild Little Thing is an absolute eye-catcher: the beer flows into the glass in a bright hibiscus red and is adorned with a delicate pink head. The hibiscus runs like a red thread through the drinking experience and is evident in both the aroma and the taste. The floral aroma of the exotic flower is accompanied by full-bodied notes of red fruit and a fruity acidity.
