More information about Small Constantia Metis Sauvignon Blanc 2018
The Klein Constantia Metis Sauvignon Blanc inspires already with its bright color in the glass and exudes the wonderful scent of lemon verbena and thyme. Mineral tones add the final touch to the bouquet. On the palate, the full-bodied and expressive white wine impresses with its great structure and a long, crisp finish. The taste is characterized by distinct mineral notes and fruity aromas such as black currants, limes and gooseberries. Incidentally, the name "Metis" stands for Klein Constantia's collaboration with Pascal Jolivet, who makes his wines using unusual methods. The flower on the label is a cross between the national flowers of South Africa and France and is a symbol of this cooperation. The Klein Constantia Metis Sauvignon Blanc was created by spontaneous fermentation and matured for twelve months on the lees, so the unique terroir of Constantia could develop wonderfully. Enjoy the special Sauvignon Blanc to dishes with fish or poultry, but also pure you should definitely try the Klein Constantia Metis Sauvignon Blanc once.
