Currant leaves, green figs, grapefruit and sweet melon lend freshness and depth to the fragrance. On the palate, the Sauvignon Blanc impresses with its complex structure, expressive fruit and precise mineral freshness.
This elegant wine shows balance and length - a white wine with format and character. The grapes come from a single vineyard at an altitude of 200-220 m on Constantia Mountain and are only vinified in exceptionally good years.
The name "Perdeblokke" recalls the time when this vineyard was still worked with horses.
