Rum from Trinidad Distillers Limited, distilled from molasses in a column still, initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels. The finish in an ex-islay whisky barrel lends smoky depth, peat and maritime nuances. These are joined by sweet caramel, vanilla, citrus, toffee and a soft vanilla finish. The balance of smoke, sweetness and spicy warmth makes it a unique cask release with an unmistakably Scottish character.
