Trinidad Distillers Limited, molasses base, column still, ex-bourbon pre-maturing. Then matured in an Oloroso sherry butt. Wood, toffee, dark fruit and clotted cream on the nose. The palate reveals dried fruits such as dates, figs and plums, nutty notes as well as orange peel, cinnamon, brown sugar, licorice and honey. A profound rum with a warm sweetness and spicy molasses finish that perfectly captures the classic sherry depth.
