The Hanscraft & Co brewery has a small but fine range of hop-intensive craft beers and is living out its passion for green gold with a new creation from 7 Haze A Week is a drinkable New England India Pale Ale that contains seven different varieties of hops The noble drop borrows its strength from Saphir, Mosaic, Bru 1, Simcoe, Comet, Cascade and Cashmere and brings an abundance of juicy fruit into the glass
The naturally cloudy beer presents itself in a densely cloudy light gold color in the glass and is crowned with a hand's breadth of foam A seductive aroma of mango, papaya and wild berries fills the air and makes you thirsty for the first sip The first sip reveals a fruity composition, Mango, passion fruit, papaya, pineapple and peach tantalize the palate and refresh with a wonderful mildness The beer has a tame 20 bitter units and an alcohol content of 6.2%, which warms body and soul
The name is a little play on words and refers both to the seven days of the week and to a characteristic of the beer: Haze is the English name for the beautiful cloudiness of the cloudy New England IPA We can always have this kind of cloudiness!
