More information about Beste Freunde
There is a story behind this beer that not only demonstrates master brewer Uli's dexterity, but also her big heart
The origin and namesake of this beer are two best friends One of them is a brewer, the other earns his living as a distributor At some point, they came up with the idea of making a beer together As brewer and distributor, the chances were good that the project would be a success and the two of them got started without further ado They rented a brewery and brewed their first batch: The brewer was tired of the constant cleaning and his friend, in addition to his day job as a salesman, had no desire to sell their joint brew Worse still was the fact that the beer didn't really taste good to anyone And the second attempt also went wrong The beer didn't taste good and the brewery, which rented out its free capacity to our duo, didn't want to play along either Because no money was coming in and no one wanted to clean, the friends were summarily thrown out the door
Fortunately, Uli from the Schneeeule brewery took heart and took on the friends' two beers With magical skill, he combined the two stouts into a fine beer that is quite strong and crisply bitter
