The Constantia Uitsig Constantia Red flows into the glass in a dark ruby red and exudes the wonderful aroma of blackcurrants, black cherries and plums. A light cigar note and a hint of mint add the finishing touches to the bouquet. The fruity and smoky nuances can also be found on the palate and are accompanied by well-structured tannins before the red wine finishes with a long-lasting, elegant finish. The cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (78%) and Cabernet Franc (22%) matured for fifteen months in barriques is a pleasure in itself. You can also pair the Constantia Uitsig Constantia Red wonderfully with spicy dishes with game or dark meat, beef is particularly recommended.
