The Constantia Uitsig Ex Oppido Red Horizon is a classic Shiraz with spicy aromas that are characteristic of the grape variety. The scent of freshly ground black pepper rises to the nose, surrounded by licorice and dark plums. Undertones of vanilla and cedar wood successfully round off the first impression. The notes of the bouquet can also be found on the palate, where the plum nuances are even more pronounced. The Constantia Uitsig Ex Oppido Red Horizon, which has matured for twelve months in barriques, is best enjoyed with spicy and aromatic dishes with dark meat. Grilled lamb in a garlic and rosemary marinade is particularly recommended. But this complex red wine is also a treat on its own.
