The Flügge brewery has always been fascinated by feathered companions of all kinds and features the cheeky fellows on the labels of its creations Now they have teamed up with Nuremberg-based Orca Brau to create a beer memorial to the crow Behind the watchful eyes of a raven with glasses and top hat lies a Bohemian Dunkel This specialty beer is typically made with Czech lager yeast and Saaz hops from the Czech Republic
The classic brings a full-bodied body to the glass and scores with strong roasted aromas, drinkable character, deep black soul, wonderfully creamy foam and a spicy hint of hops The brewers have proven their wisdom with the combination of coffee, chocolate and roasted malt and have done the crows proud
