More information about Frank

The basis for Frank's special, unmistakable character is, quite classically and typically for a stout: the malts. And Frank is not at all stingy here, on the contrary: only the perfect interplay of several barley malts, including three different roasted malts, supplemented by oat and wheat malt, gives Frank its incomparably complex body, in which strong coffee and roasted aromas are particularly prominent and, in combination with fine cocoa and caramel notes, create a wonderful composition.

A pleasant hoppy bitterness in the finish is then particularly responsible for Hercules, which, in view of the intense malty note, has to work hard and is used in a truly divine amount to round off Frank's taste optimally. And we find that he succeeds excellently.

Die Brauhandwerker Beauty Shot

The result is a malt-driven, multi-layered beer in which coffee and roast aromas, combined with light creamy caramel and cocoa notes, complement each other to create a full-bodied treat. For us, an absolute taste experience.

The brewers

Beer is a fascinating beverage in our eyes. From just a few ingredients, expert hands create the most diverse varieties, and with only minor changes to the recipe, a completely different taste direction can be taken. For us, beer means diversity: and we would like to contribute our share to this diversity. For the production of our craft beer specialties, we naturally use only natural ingredients and the best, soft spring water from the Upper Black Forest. Additives and preservatives are absolutely taboo for us. Because purity and quality are the measure of all things for us. And we think you can taste that in every sip. And so our craft beer specialties are created with a lot of love and passion, Franconian down-to-earthness, American love of experimentation and creativity. Special beers with a unique, unmistakable character that simply taste delicious. Franconian drinkable -...
