More information about Marge's Calamansi fruit pulp vinegar
Today, the calamondin orange is mainly grown in the Philippines, where it is called calamansi. The calamondin orange originally comes from China. It is a cross between an orange, a mandarin and a type of kumquat. Its taste combines the three types of fruit mentioned above in a fantastic way. In our calamansi fruit pulp vinegar, the fruit flavor is clearly evident without being overpowering.
The calamansi fruit puree and fine vinegar with 5% acidity create a wonderfully fruity alliance of flavors. Calamansi vinegar goes perfectly with fruit salads, desserts and ice cream. And of course with fish and seafood, goat's cheese and mozzarella.
Creative top chefs have also discovered this and like to use it in exciting new dishes.
