The Plaisir Grand Plaisir presents itself in a brilliant garnet red with violet hues in the glass and exudes a heavenly aroma of red berries, mulberries and plums. Subtle aromas of dried herbs and cedar wood are also present and perfectly round off the fruity notes. The red wine cuvée made from Cabernet Sauvignon (41%), Petit Verdot (29%), Malbec (17%), Cabernet Franc (7%) and Merlot (6%) is wonderfully full-bodied on the palate and great nuances of ripe cherries, blueberries, ripe plums and apricots create an indescribable taste experience. Opulent with a pleasant hint of spice and a balanced tannin structure, the red wine has a beautifully velvety finish. The flagship wine is therefore wonderful to drink on its own, but is also a great accompaniment to juicy steak.
