Pharmacist and pharmacist Kuno Grote, inventor of the herbal liqueur Pijökel 55, used to experiment passionately in his laboratory with new, unknown flavors and spirit recipes. His son Gabriel Grote and his partner Henning Birkenhake are continuing this family tradition. In 2010, they founded Grote & Co. Spirits Manufaktur in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district. In doing so, they not only produce the family recipe Pijökel 55. They are also always on the lookout for new exciting drinks and recipes. The latest developments are the fine hazelnut organic spirit and the fresh Spree Gin with its new recipe for summer: rhubarb melon.

The natural cultivation of the vineyards and the gentle vinification in favor of expressive wines requires time, patience and sometimes a little courage. But the Haltingen winegrowers are happy to take this as an incentive to produce high-quality grapes. Little by little, the ambitious goals are being achieved in the family-owned producer association. The Haltingen vintners, 46 active members, unite around 55h of vineyards in the Markgräflerland region of Baden and are currently doing better than ever on the wine stage. Hambuca. The anise liqueur from Hamburg. The name is composed of the spirit "Sambuca" and the hometown of Hambuca "Hamburg". As the most important ingredient, star anise is the defining flavor note. Essential oils make Hambuca so full-bodied and flavorful. Hambuca is refined with natural maple syrup. This gives it its special, caramel and mild taste, as well as its unmistakable color, reminiscent of amber. A tribute to the Hanseatic city of Hamburg as a traditional trading city!
