Hazelnut is one of the most popular domestic spirits. However, their taste is often more reminiscent of the liquid form of the well-known nut nougat spread. We wanted to create a "grown-up" and, above all, natural alternative. Gerhard Liebl, who distils in the Bavarian Forest and is known far beyond his region thanks to his numerous records at international competitions, uses fresh juniper berries alongside hazelnuts for this distillate. This combination not only perfectly complements the two aromas, but also allows flavors to emerge that the individual ingredients would otherwise not reveal. We can proudly say that the whole is more than the sum of its parts.
