More information about Rambazica
Beer style: Vodka Barrel Aged Bock
Most of us associate vodka with the odd night of drinking The high-proof is one of the more affordable ones
The brewers at ÜberQuell Brauwerkstätten have set up a collaboration with the latter The distillery from the Hanseatic city produces small quantities of fine spirits and enhances the vodka using organic grain and a professional approach The spirit is made from Naturland-certified wheat, rye, spelt, emmer and barley and matures for at least 12 months in oak barrels The vessels, which are of North American origin, previously contained various red wines, which lent the wood some of its aroma
ÜberQuell's Rambazica is a pale bock beer that is filled into these very barrels after the brewing process and stored for 18 months During this maturation process, an incredible 4.5 kilograms of dried blueberries and liquid sugar candy are added to the fine brew At the end of this process, a complex beer with a balanced sweetness, wild berry notes and a soul-satisfying 12.5% alcohol content is created

With handmade beer from real people for real people, pizza from the stone oven and a lot of heart and soul, the makers have been attracting countless beer fans ever since. A matter of the heart Even though the guys from St. Pauli have a reputation for being tough guys, there's one thing you can't write off from them: Passion. And that's what makes ÜberQuell a true highlight in Hamburg's culinary landscape. Axel Ohm and Patrick Rüther are the brilliant minds behind the project and the people who conceived and set up the microbrewery...
