Strong beer

Strong beer is not really a beer style, but rather a designation for beers with an original wort of 16% or more (= proportion of dissolved ingredients in the beer from the grain malt). The high original wort results in a higher alcohol content. Typical German representatives are Bockbier and Doppelbock. You can expect strong and exciting beers.
