Mimosa Cocktail Rezept

The Mimosa is a classic brunch drink made from champagne and orange juice. Its history dates back to the early 1920s, when it was first served at the Ritz Hotel in Paris. The name "Mimosa" is said to be inspired by the yellow flowers of the mimosa plant, which blooms in the south of France during the winter months.

Mimosa is best served chilled in a champagne flute or wine glass. It is perfect for any festive occasion or as a refreshing drink of the day.

Mimosa recipe:

Ingredients (for 2 servings):

  • 18 cl champagne (or other sparkling wine)
  • 12 cl orange juice
  • orange slices

Preparation:

  1. Pour the orange juice into a champagne flute or wine glass.
  2. Slowly pour the champagne over the orange juice.
  3. Stir gently to mix.
  4. Garnish with an orange slice.
